Project Description
Woodward Academy, a charter school located in the former Detroit Psychiatric Hospital, enrolls over 700 students each school year. As their demand for space grew, the Academy selected White Construction to oversee the phased renovation and expansion program. The project scope consists of a complete renovation of the second floor of the four story tower to accommodate classrooms, and first floor renovations to house a computer room and locker area. In addition the entire structure received a new roof.
