Project Description

Little Caesars Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Midtown Detroit. The arena, which cost $862.9 million to construct, are the homes of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Pistons. The new 885,000 square foot, multi-purpose arena features a unique, glass-roofed roofed concourse connecting it to offices and shops surrounding it. The arena features the largest center-hung scoreboard in the world, measuring 5,100 square feet. In addition, unique “gondola” seating is suspended over the event level, creating unimaginable vantage points to watch games, concerts and events. The visionary bowl design of the arena creates enhanced sight-lines and incredibly intimate home game and concert experiences.

A 37,300-square-foot practice ice rink is inside the arena, which also serves as the practice facility for the Red Wings. The arena features a center hung scoreboard that measures at 5,100 square feet. The arena also features 45 LED displays covering more than 13,500 square feet and 16.5 million plus LED’s in and around it.
